Ya know what is funny/sad? I forgot why I even started working on this. I guess I just wanted a free mobile site.

I suppose this is useful… though don't really see the point with the iPod/iPhone as it's designed to show full websites in its browser. Might be more useful for smaller devices I suspect.

I'm going to have a try making a mobile version of my main website's home page, and see how it turns out. Might help me to see what advantages this CSI has :)

I didn't even think about using wiki markup. Great idea!

Hmm, this might solve my long-standing issue with the navigators. Nice work!

Nice work, leiger!

I like the fact that the prepend and append lines support wiki markup:
I added an example above so the results can be seen.

[[include :css-competition:include:hover
|prepend=Have you //ever// wanted to show an **image** when you hover [[span style="background: #ffff33;"]]your mouse[[/span]] over text?
For example, the
|text=world's smallest horse
|image=http://www.bloganything.net/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/thumbelina-worlds-smallest-horse-small.jpg
|attributes=width="300px"
|append=is []really[], []really[] []small[]! :)
]]

Fixed, I've no idea why these permissions were missing. Sorry!

… with a {$position} variable:

 • absolute : to position the icon for example just below the nav top
 • fixed : to have it floating at a fixed position on the screen

I have nothing against using my image, but my blog is copyrighted, so it'd be nice if someone asks me for permission…

No problem.
I did not see the title just because I read the watch email … in which the title of the post is not really visible

Then you are also only getting the original version of a post, and not subsequent edits.

Steven Heynderickx commented "Nicely done" on the page "Feedback" at http://css-competition.wikidot.com/package:13/comments/show#post-670413
But that Lorem ipsum-text was mine! :-)
Is it for more personal feedback than just a comment? because if you are watching your own pages you get e-mail feedback also… but then of course the comment is on the page, with your solution it is kept private.

Cause of misunderstanding is shared

Uhm, misplaced sarcasm. If a post is unclear (and it is very easy to overlook a comment title, like an email subject) then it's the poster's not the reader's fault.

Personally I have a very strong opinion on the whole subject of feedback but I forgot what it was.

Nice package, Gerdami!

I wrote nicely done… excuse me!
And for somebody who would be looking for a more discrete way of commenting this is an excelent way… but hey… sorry to give you some positive comment.

I wrote "Yes, this is the old way: feedback by email."
I did not intend to launch a debate on private/public feedback. Just wanted to illustrate that what is difficult to implement with professional web content management systems - Ask a well paid XSLT expert ! - is easy to do with wikidot's live _template.

I originally had everything customizable, but I found out that the include statements didn't want to work with css. I don't know why. I had it working fairly well with a div class=hover, but some things just wouldn't work. I'll work ok it later since I have til the end of January now. (if I have time, that is.)
